Claudia Boyle
Irish soprano Claudia Boyle has garnered international acclaim through performances in Zurich, Rome, London, Berlin, and New York. A former member of the Salzburger Festspiele’s Young Singers Project, she recently debuted at Opéra National de Paris as Dede in Bernstein’s A Quiet Place, conducted by Kent Nagano. Claudia is a winner of the Maria Callas Competition in Verona, where she received the Critics’ Award and a medal from the Callas Estate.
Notable roles include Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Rome, Berlin), Adina in L’elisir d’amore (Dresden, Oslo), and Leila in The Pearl Fishers (English National Opera). She starred as Mabel in Mike Leigh’s The Pirates of Penzance, broadcast across Europe, and performed the four heroines of Les Contes d’Hoffmann for Irish National Opera. Her portrayal of Gilda in Rigoletto at Teatro dell’Opera di Roma earned critical acclaim.
Claudia’s concert career includes performances with the New York Philharmonic, NHK Symphony Orchestra, and collaborations with Riccardo Muti, Paavo Järvi, and Ensemble Modern. She also premiered The Last Hotel, an opera by Enda Walsh and Donnacha Dennehy, which toured internationally and was filmed by Sky Arts.
